Fixing:
1. If fixing to a structure, pre-drill fixing holes to allow for expansion and contraction. (Use a 10mm drill for lengths up to 4.2m and a 12mm drill for lengths longer than 4.2m.)

2. Fix the material into place with screws and sealing washers.

3. Fix the panels every 200-250mm around the perimeter.

4. Screw cover battens to the frame every 300-325mm.

5. Remember to use Laserlite fixings, as these are compatible with Premium Polycarbonate and PVC.

Tools required

Handiglaze is sawable, drillable, bendable (to a radius of 50mm).

Cutting:
Multipurpose tinsnips or fine tooth saw.

Drilling:
Blunt metalworking drill on a slow speed. Note: Support must be given during cutting and drilling.

Cleaning:
Use soapy water (mild detergent). Avoid abrasive cleaners.

Gluing:
Not recommended.

Sealing:
Use any adhesive or sealant suitable for PVC plastics. Should only be used to affix Handiglaze to itself or other PVC materials. Clamp the joint for 24 hours. Note: Some adhesives may cause brittleness - test first.

Bending:
Apply indirect heat to the area to be bent, and then bend the sheet. To remove white marks, apply further gentle heating.

Handling & Storage

When storing Laserlite Handiglaze before installation, be careful to keep the rolls away from direct sunlight and moisture, which can damage the roll.
