When tested in accordance with AS 1530.3 ‘Test For Early Fire Hazard Properties Of Materials’ Alsynite 50FR gives the following determinations:

ALSYNITE 25HTH

Alsynite 25HTH resin system incorporates a specific fire retardant formulation. As a result, Alsynite 25HTH conforms with Underwriters Laboratory U.L. Standard 723 ‘Test For Surface Burning Characteristics Of Building Materials’. (ASTM E84).

In line with the above test method, Alsynite 25HTH resin system has a Flame Spread Index of 25. ‘Factory Mutual Melbourne Engineering Bulletin’ states “the use of Alsynite’s 25HTH GRP has been pre-approved for use in FR treated panels, skylights and wall linings with the Flame Spread Rating of 25 or less as per ASTME-84”.

QUALITY AND TESTING

50FR and 25HTH are totally developed by Alsynite. They are formulated to meet both local and international conditions and have been subjected to rigorous testing for compliance with relevant Australian and American Standards.

Technical assistance is available from Alsynite’s manufacturing facility in North Rocks, NSW, Australia.

Alsynite set a new benchmark in industry standards by providing an individual Certificate of Compliance in relation to all of its Fire Retardant resin systems. Furthermore, Alsynite provides the following third party confirmations of Resin Supplier, Resin Batch Number, Date Of Manufacture and Sheet Description. Alsynite was the first roofing products supplier to invite industry confirmation and scrutiny on the supply of its base materials. Our Certificate of Compliance is signed by two resident Directors independant of the manufacturing process. To ensure peace of mind and recognising your Duty of Care (DOC), insist on a Certificate outlining all third party confirmations.
